ConsciousNest

Support. Harm Reduction. Education

Servicing music events and festivals in Queensland

“Amazing work from people who genuinely care.”

– VIV MITCHELL (Founder – Australian Festival Guide)

Our Story.

The ConsciousNest is a grassroots community project that was created by an event organiser in the rave scene in 2013. It was developed as a response to address drug use, sex education, mental health and well being within the music event community.

As peers to the community we deeply understand our party peoples needs and the best ways to create engagement. Many of our team members are also qualified social workers, psychologists, healthcare and harm reduction workers, friends and family of those with a lived experience.

We want to see our community thrive, promoting long, healthy, meaningful and ridiculously fun lives.

“ConsciousNest do amazing work in educating and looking after festival-goers in any way they can. From providing a quick drink of water and a chat, all the way up to sitting beside someone having a deeply traumatic experience, they are there to help. Incredible service, incredible people.”

– DAVID EDWARDS (Australian Psychedelic Society)
